PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers and star outside linebacker T.J. Watt have agreed to a massive five-year contract extension worth a reported $112 million, according to multiple reports.
The deal includes a four-year, $112 million extension that will pay Watt an average of $28 million per year. It also includes an $80 million signing bonus, which is fully guaranteed.
The contract negotiation had dragged on throughout training camp and into the first week of the regular season, but the two sides were finally able to reach an agreement on Saturday.
